Learning to swim is a human right.
Swim Global Project and Swim Safe Uganda have partnered to raise Uganda's awareness of drowning prevention and water safety. More specifically, communities living in areas around Lake Victoria have been devastated by drowning deaths and continue to increase with the impacts of floods and migration. It is estimated that more than 5000 Ugandans drown each year, but those numbers are estimated to be much higher as data is not readily available.
Together, we can continue ensuring better futures for children in Uganda and their families.
